Competition for the positions of APNIP specilaist

World Bank Project Implementation Unit under the Department of Water Resources and Land Improvement, financed by Global Agriculture and Food Security Program under the Agricultural Productivity and Nutrition Improvement Project, (Grant TF0A0645) announces a competition for the position:

AGRO-FOOD MARKET ANALYSIS SPECIALIST
Qualification requirements:

  1. Higher education in economics, agricultural economy, management, business management and relevant fields;
  2. At least 5 years of work experience in agribusiness, trade of agricultural food products and market;
  3. Good understanding of work of the agricultural sector and food markets, as well as their involvement in food security;
  4. Knowledge of best practices in market regulation and access to food policies in other countries;
  5. Special skills and experience in the development or analysis of trade policies and market regulation;
  6. Special skills and experience in collecting data, analyzing and writing reports on agricultural/food markets and prices.

POVERTY AND VULNERABILITY REDUCTION SPECIALIST
Qualification requirements:

  1. Higher education in sociology, management or other relevant fields;
  2. At least 5 years of work experience in NGOs and projects, related to population poverty and vulnerability;
  3. Good understanding of gender issues, social vulnerability, food products production and processing by small and family farms;
  4. Special skills and work experience on analysis of population poverty and vulnerability;
  5. Good skills of report writing to be confirmed by the previous reports of author and presentations as well as communication skills;
  6. Special skills and work experience in data collection, analysis and reports writing on population poverty and vulnerability

NUTRITION SPECIALIST
Qualification requirements:

  1. Higher education in medical science, nutrition, food industry or other relevant fields.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in nutrition or healthcare. Preferred work experience in healthcare in MH, research or educational organizations, specializing and participating in nutrition aspects;
  3. A good understanding of the work to improve the diet and quality of nutrition and monitor indicators for quality and balanced nutrition;
  4. Special skills in data collection, analysis and reports writing on nutrition issues;
  5. Experience in the development of a methodology for the composition of nutrition and food;
  6. Work experience in assessing the number of undernourished people and analyzing statistical information on the structure of the population’s nutrition.

FOOD SECURITY SPECIALIST
Qualification requirements:

  1. Higher education in agricultural economy, (priority) or other relevant fields;
  2. At least 5 years of work experience in agriculture or relevant fields.
  3. Work experience in NGOs, projects on food security program.
  4. Special skills in analysis of export – import, reserves and access to food, work experience in data collection and reports writing on food security issues;
  5. Good understanding of agricultural production, crop production and animal husbandry;
  6. Providing experience on food security and access to food policies in other countries.
