At the end of August 2018 specialists of Component 3 “Nutrition improvements” of “Agricultural Productivity and Nutrition Improvement Project” in the framework of the planned activities on work with the population in 2018 held meetings with the deputy akim of Nooken rayon on social issues Bekzhigitova Nuriyla Alimzhanovna and deputy akim of Ala-Buka rayon on social issues Usenbayeva Kalchabu Satimbayevna. During the meetings stakeholders were informed about the planned activities of Component 3 “Nutrition improvements” of “Agricultural Productivity and Nutrition Improvement Project”. Deputy heads of state rayon administrations have noted that they will support the implementation of the component’s activities, as nutrition is crucial for the preservation of the health of women and children.

Also during the fieldtrip, the practical assistance to the medical staff of ayil aimaks Sakaldy and Nooken of the Nooken rayon, ayil aimaks Yzar, Ak-Tam of Ala-Buka rayon of Jalal-Abad oblast was provided.
