PIU APNIP at the 6th International Congress on maternal and child nutrition at first 1000 days, which was held in the Antalya city
From March 14 to 18, 2018 in the Antalya city of the Republic of Turkey the 6th International Congress on maternal and child nutrition in the first 1000 days was held. This event was organized and conducted under the guidance of the YISAV project. On behalf of the “Agricultural Productivity and Nutrition Improvement Project” Component 3 Coordinator on nutrition improvements – Saikal Bozova, took part in the Congress and made a presentation on the topic: “Kyrgyzstan has launched a project that promotes the importance of the first 1000 days of a child’s life.”
The purpose of the Congress was to promote the concept of 1000 days of child’s life, the importance of early nutrition and its impact on maternal and child health, as well as stimulating and promoting research, integrating basic science and clinical practice, strengthening international cooperation and friendship among experts.
At the Congress, not only educational but also clinical and scientific events in nutrition during pregnancy and in the first two years of a child’s life (1000 days), intra-uterine embryo programming, embryo and child growth, future health in adulthood were presented.
This Congress on maternal and child nutrition is offered a wide and interesting scientific program covering all aspects of nutrition during pregnancy, nutrition and fetal programming, development of children. The best presentations and poster sessions were presented in program.
